Welcome to the IDPA league at the Minnetonka Game & Fish Club

Are you looking for an exciting sport that you can use your stock pistol or revolver?

The International Defensive Pistol Association as a sport is quite simply the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. Shooters competing in Defensive Pistol events are required to use practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self-defense use. The main goal of Defensive Pistol matches is to test the skill and ability of an individual, not his or her equipment or gamesmanship.

The Minnetonka Game and Fish League is affiliated with IDPA and matches will follow International Defensive Pistol Association guidelines.

Please Note:

  1. We start setup at 9 a.m. so please try to be on time. It's not fair for the same folks to have to do all the work.
  2. As announced at the July match, beginning with the August match we will be checking IDPA cards. If you have shot with us before and are not current, you will not be allowed to shoot, per IDPA rules. If your membership is pending, you can call HQ and they will give you your member number.

For more information about IDPA please visit the IDPA website at www.IDPA.com.
